A few days ago, someone from my old highschool passed away.  All I know about him was that his name was Eric.  He was driving and his breaks stopped working.  He jumped out of his car in order to save himself.  Unfortunately, he hit his head and was knocked unconscious.  He was in a comma for a few days.  He died on August 23rd 2012.   

Days later, I regret to say a fellow classmate (Alex Phillips to be exact) posted this on facebook-

The comment is not only disrespectful, but inhumane.  The boy who made this disgusting joke serves in the Navy.  ”Serving” our country.  

I may have never known Eric, but any low-life scum showing discourtesy to a friend, a brother, a son, an over all loving person, has no purpose in life.  

By this comment, Alex Philips has not only degraded himself, but the so called country he’s sworn to protect.
